The University of Miami School of Law, in partnership with the AALS Journal of Legal Education, hosted a virtual symposium to discuss the ways in which the COVID-19 pandemic has transformed legal education in the United States. Northeastern Law Professors Jeremy Paul and Margaret Woo, co-editors of the Journal of Legal Education, were panel moderators.
Two long-time friends and professors of law discussed the recent surprising Supreme Court rulings. Attendees were invited to join Professor Emerita Judy Brown and Matthews Distinguished University Professor Wendy Parmet over coffee or tea (virtually). Both of these legal powerhouses have taught Constitutional Law extensively and, although Brown retired in 2001, she still teaches Constitutional Law in continuing education programs at the University of Arizona, and, up until last year, at Dartmouth, as well. Parmet is a nationally known health law expert and head of Northeastern Law's Center for Health Policy and Law.
