This webinar featured Francesca Batault, SSH’19 and Charles Allen, director of partnerships at The Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), one of the world’s leading think tanks. IEP released the Global Peace Index 2020 report, which measures peace and its economic impact. The report presented one of the most comprehensive, data-driven analysis on trends in peace, and how to develop peaceful societies. The report also analyzed the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on peace, specifically how its economic consequences would increase the risk of severe deteriorations in positive peace over the next few years.
