The Northeastern Alumni Directory is now a part of NUsource—Northeastern’s exclusive online mentoring platform. To access the directory, simply create your profile (you can use the same username and password as for the old directory), and click on “Directory” in the navigation menu to search. You can use the search bar and/or the filter feature to find alumni and then reach out directly through the platform. It’s just that easy to put your Northeastern network to use for you!
By default, all information with the exception of your name and class year are hidden in the online community. Once you set up a profile, you can create your profile by entering information you’d like other alumni and students to see in the directory. If we have an email address for you, other users can reach out to you through the system and you will receive an email notification from PeopleGrove prompting you to create an account to see the message. At no point will your email be exposed to other users, unless you choose. Furthermore, you can opt out of appearing in the directory entirely.
Alumni who graduated after 2013 retain access to their @husky.neu.edu email address. At this time, we cannot offer email accounts to alumni outside of these years, but we hope to add that service by the end of 2020.
Northeastern offers many educational opportunities for alumni. In addition to continuing education programs through the College of Professional Studies, the Office of Alumni Relations also offers a lecture series, NU@Noon, and other academically oriented programs. Check out our complete academic and continuing education benefits.
For interested alumni, Northeastern offers tuition discounts of up to 25 percent off select graduate degree and certificate programs. The Double Husky Scholarship is available to all qualified alumni. Visit northeastern.edu/doublehusky for more information.
Our suite of career-focused programming provides a valuable gateway for alumni to enhance their professional opportunities. Whether you are looking for a job, hoping to move up the corporate ladder, or wishing to network with others in your profession, our Career Strategy programs are a great place to start.
Regionally, alumni events provide excellent networking opportunities. You can also search the online directory for alumni working in the field you are interested in to inquire about an informational interview. If you are a seasoned professional able to offer guidance to a fellow graduate, these services offer opportunities to help.
Alumni are invited to borrow materials from the library’s impressive collection, connect from off campus to select online research databases, and partake in award-winning reference and instructional programs. Alumni can log into library services using the same credentials used to access Husky Nation, the alumni online community. Some in-person library services require a Northeastern Alumni ID card, which can be obtained at the Husky Card Office located at 4 Speare Commons. For more information on services available to alumni, visit the University Libraries website.
