Access Northeastern Account

Beginning in July 2020, Northeastern upgraded to a more modern Identity Management system. The new system provides more self-service options for alumni online accounts and is part of the university’s ongoing effort to keep personal and institutional information secure through two-factor authentication (2FA).

If you graduated in 2013 or later, your username and password remain the same as your student account. Below is a list of services available through your Northeastern alumni account:

Do you have 2FA?

To increase account security, Northeastern is expanding its two-factor authentication (2FA) enrollment requirement. As a result, all Northeastern alumni account holders must enroll in Duo, the university’s 2FA provider. Enrollment is required for continued access to university systems and web services such as NUsource, email access and online library resources. Please note, you will need your current username and password to enroll in 2FA.

If you do not remember your Northeastern UserID, you can reach out to the IT Service Desk for assistance with accessing your online account at [email protected] or 617-373-4357.

Be sure to include your full name, 9-digit NUID number, graduation year, college, and email address or phone number in your request. As our customer service representatives work with you, they may ask for other information.

Please note, your 9-digit NUID is featured in the footer on all email sent by The Office of Alumni Relations. If you cannot find your NUID number, reach out [email protected] for assistance.

Password Reset
