IEP released the Global Peace Index 2020 report, which measures peace and its economic impact. The report presented one of the most comprehensive, data-driven analysis on trends in peace, and how to develop peaceful societies. The report also analyzed the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on peace, specifically how its economic consequences would increase the risk of severe deteriorations in positive peace over the next few years.
