Alessandro Vespignani research activity is focused on the study of “techno-social” systems, where infrastructures composed of different technological layers are interoperating within the social component that drives their use and development.
In this event we discussed and shared ideas about issues, trends and careers in the nonprofit arena. Our alumni hosts brought an extensive experience in numerous aspects of nonprofits, including advocacy, youth development and engagement, community outreach, fundraising, board leadership, resource development and more. This program included a series of two breakout room discussions, each facilitated by one of our hosts.
This virtual talk featured Dr. Susan B. Hassmiller, PhD, RN, FAAN, Senior Adviser for Nursing, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and Senior Scholar-In-Residence and Senior Adviser to the President on Nursing, National Academy of Medicine. In this role, Dr. Hassmiller is serving as a key member of the leadership team for the Future of Nursing 2030 report. School of Nursing Dean, Dr. Maria van Pelt, PhD, CRNA, FAAN, will be the event host and moderator.
