The Africana Studies Program invite you to the inaugural bell hooks symposium at Northeastern University Oakland, honoring the life and legacy of the trailblazing Black feminist scholar bell hooks. This symposium’s theme is Education as the Practice of Freedom: Black Feminism in Action.
Come experience college level rugby with the Maddogs! We welcome you to join us on the Northeastern campus for a fun clinic with current players and coaches going over rugby fundamentals, safety and proper technique! In addition to the clinic, there will be a campus tour, a Q&A with current team members, and a team dinner at Panera afterwards. The clinic is open to any and all high schoolers at all skill levels, free of charge. Registration closes on Sunday, March 17.
