Critical Conversations: Advancing Women’s Health Innovation Event Recap

On Thursday, October 16, 2025, Alumni Relations, The Mills Institute, and Women Who Empower brought together leaders for a powerful conversation on reshaping women’s health. Attendees explored how to close the critical investment gap in women’s health research and businesses, build stronger health literacy in communities, and drive meaningful change.

Bouvé College Faculty Member Receives Award for Women’s Health Innovation

Dr. Jie Shen, a faculty member at Northeastern University’s Bouvé College of Health Sciences, has been awarded a $49,999 First Look Award from the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) for her groundbreaking research project titled “Accelerating Women’s Health Solutions: A Bioengineered Vaginal Tissue Model for Modern Drug Development and Testing.”
