Following the announcement that Google will no longer offer free unlimited data storage to higher education institutions, Northeastern will discontinue providing alumni with storage on the University’s Google Drive after October 1, 2024. This means you will need to remove all files from your Northeastern Google Drive by that date.
Alumni who graduated in August 2013 or later keep their @northeastern.edu email address, as well as access to 100GB of OneDrive storage in the Microsoft 365 (M365) Suite. Alumni who previously had an @husky.neu.edu email address in Google have been migrated to @northeastern.edu in M365. All messages sent to @husky.neu.edu addresses are forwarded to M365 mailboxes. For example, if your email address was [email protected], it is now [email protected].
