In collaboration with the Alumni Relations, the John Martinson Honors Program aims to further strengthen the Honors community by engaging Honors alumni and students through social events and professional development opportunities. Honors alumni will also have the opportunity to establish meaningful connections with current Honors students through the mentoring network.
Presented by Alumni Relations and Student Life, the Societies of Distinction—Huntington 100 for undergraduates and Laurel and Scroll 100 for graduate students—recognize exceptional members of the Northeastern community. These honors celebrate students from each graduating class whose accomplishments demonstrate extraordinary leadership, service, and alignment with the university’s mission, values, and academic plan. Selection reflects the impact these individuals have made on campus, in the community, and around the globe.
As ambassadors of the Office of Alumni Relations, Student Alumni Ambassadors members are the conduit to connect students with alumni, bring awareness about opportunities students can access now and after graduation, and more importantly, make sure the Northeastern spirit lives on.
The Northeastern University Civil Engineering Alumni Organization (NUCEAO) was formed in 1978 to assist engineering students and to expand the capabilities and resources of the Northeastern University student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers. It forms the core of the civil and environmental engineering alumni base and provides a range of support for the department, including providing speakers for the departmental and student organization seminars, mentors for current student activities, and generous donations.
