Ethan LaRochelle, E’09

Ethan LaRochelle, E’09, is co-founder and CEO of QUEL Imagining which was recently awarded a Phase I SBIR grant to develop tools for fluorescence guided surgery. During his time at Northeastern, Ethan was president of Engineers Without Borders (06-08) and a recipient of the 2009 Compass Award. After working in industry he returned to academics in 2015 to pursue a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Dartmouth College. During his PhD Ethan was awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.
