Delores Edwards, ’88, of Boston, Massachusetts, Northeastern Alum, won an Emmy Award from the Boston/New England chapter as executive producer and showrunner of the television program Basic Black on GBH for a special edition episode about the murder of George Floyd. Edwards also earned a Clarion Award from the Association for Women in Communications for executive producing an episode about health disparities in communities of color and COVID-19. Earlier this year Edwards was also named one of Boston’s Most Impactful Black Women by Get Konnected!
