The Health Sciences Entrepreneurs program is housed in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences, and was created to introduce entrepreneurial business opportunities in the health sciences to students, alumni, and faculty. The program, founded in 2005, by alumnus Joseph Fleming, PAH ’70, MS ’71, focuses on educating alumni and faculty entrepreneurs by providing them with the knowledge and tools to build successful companies. The program hosts annual events and a mentoring program for alumni, graduate students and faculty from Northeastern who are starting businesses in the health sciences.

The Experiential Network (XN) is a new initiative built to ensure experiential learning opportunities for graduate and professional studies students. Partnering with sponsoring businesses and organizations, XN facilitates opportunities for students to work on short-term, real-world projects to complement their academic work. Projects are carried out virtually over a six-week period, and students and sponsors work closely in an authentic professional environment during which students produce deliverables for their sponsors that will go on to inform critical business decisions.
