To advance a cause that’s near and dear to her heart—and one to which she devotes much of her time—Miracle made her gift in support of Women Who Empower, a community that has inspired and supported her greatly during her experience at Northeastern. Miracle was part of the university’s inaugural group of Women Who Empower Ambassadors, an opportunity that enabled her “to help further the mission of the community and help build a network of fellow students and alumni who are also passionate about it.”
Maria Oliveira gave to the Psychology Department Research Fund to ensure that faculty and students are equipped to make new discoveries and continue improving lives. As a psychology major, she aspires to contribute and make an impact in the field. Her goal is to work as a clinical research assistant and apply to medical school after graduation, and she wants to help protect those opportunities for future students.
