Saturday, April 21
Community Service Day with Concrete Safaris
9:30 a.m.–1 p.m. | Mad Fun Farm, 1775 Third Ave.
Roll up your sleeves for a spring clean-up with your fellow Huskies and Concrete Safaris! We will be repairing raised beds, shoveling topsoil, planting herbs, vegetables, fruits, and flowers, spreading mulch, weeding, and more. Help make NYC more green with your Northeastern community!

Huskies Fitness: Yoga
10 a.m.–12 p.m. | The Lucid Body House, 230 Lexington Ave.
Perfect your downward dog, de-stress, and stretch with your Northeastern community at a yoga class led by Jessica Lynn, DMSB’04. This is the perfect opportunity to try a new workout, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and meet fellow alumni. After the yoga class, enjoy well-deserved refreshments while you wind down.

Looking to advance your career? Prepare to achieve what’s next with a career coaching session with Michele Rapp, Associate Director of Alumni Career Strategy. Develop your career strategy at an in-person, 45-minute session covering topics such as job search, resume review, LinkedIn feedback, or career advancement. Pre-registration for a session time is required. All sessions have been reserved. A waitlist is now open.

Huskies Hands-On: Pasta Making at Aunt Jake’s Pasta Lab

Want to experience a taste of Italy? Join fellow members of the Northeastern community for a pasta making class at Aunt Jake’s Pasta Lab. Work with a top-notch chef to create delicious homemade pasta while enjoying wine. The pasta you make is yours to take home!

afterHOURS: A NU Black Alumni Social

The Northeastern community is invited to Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club for a special occasion that is not to be missed. Join your hosts Binjia Basimike, BHS’12, MPH’14, Sydney Stewart, AMD’15, and NXTLVL Ent. for an evening of reconnecting, reminiscing, and making new memories. This event is complimentary, but registration is required. Registration includes two drinks and hors d’oeuvres. NXTLVL Ent. is owned by Sean Adu-Gyamfi, S‘13, and Javaughn Griffin, CS’15.

Beyond the Brew: Circa Brewing Co.

Kick off your weekend by visiting the latest addition to Brooklyn’s brewery scene! We’ll experience a guided tasting with Circa head brewer, Danny Bruckert, featuring a special-made batch created for our group using historic Boston recipes as inspiration. In addition, we will have Northeastern alumnus, Peter McNulty, DMSB’04, onsite to discuss his adventures in craft beer distribution all over the globe, while enjoying wood fired pizza, paired with the perfect pint!
Saturday, April 28
Family Day at the Bronx Zoo
1–3 p.m. | 2300 Southern Blvd., Bronx
Enjoy a Saturday at the Bronx Zoo! Explore the park with total experience tickets before meeting up with the Northeastern community under the Dancing Crane Pavilion. We will enjoy a buffet style picnic lunch overlooking the flamingo exhibit. Attendees will also experience the brand new Wildgoose Digital Scavenger Hunt. This event is family friendly and fun for all ages. Wear your red and black so you can spot fellow Huskies at the park!
In February over 450 of your fellow Northeastern alumni, students, parents, staff, and friends joined the fun at Jetblue Park. Guests had the opportunity to meet Paws and Wally, get signatures and photographs from former Red Sox pitcher, Derek Lowe, and hear about exciting new university initiatives. The day was filled with energy and excitement.
Our Northeastern Near You series kicked off in September 2017 with a tour across the state of California. More than a hundred of you joined us for 13 events, in 9 cities, over 6 days! Huskies were turned on their heads (literally!) in a paddleboard yoga class in Marina del Rey, trained in classical French techniques in a macaron-making class in San Francisco, gathered for a community barbeque in La Jolla, and brought behind the scenes in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles!CLOSE
