Engagement Opportunities

Make Connections

College Connections

College Connections is a series of networking events designed to connect students and young alumni in an engaging and meaningful way. Each event is geared toward a specific college and features young alumni from various industries. The events attract alumni and current students from across the university together to build new connections, reconnect with classmates, and share experiences.

Dinner with 12 Huskies is your opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal on us while socializing and networking with Huskies outside your daily routine. Northeastern University alumni will host students and distinguished guests for an evening of stories, laughter, and Husky camaraderie. There is nothing to prepare, simply pull a chair to make valuable connections and turn strangers into friends.

The Northeastern network is your catalyst for success and nd we’re making it even more accessible with our newly launched platform: NUsource. If you’re seeking career advice, industry insights, mentoring, or simply strengthening professional connections, NUsource is your first step. The platform is designed exclusively for Northeastern alumni, students, and community members around the globe to connect, expand, and grow their network.

Celebrate Traditions

On the evening before Commencement, seniors and their families are invited to join President Joseph E. Aoun, college deans, professors, and alumni for festive, complimentary gathering to celebrate the graduating class.

Founder’s Day

Join students, faculty, and staff as we celebrate the founding of our beloved alma mater. Northeastern was founded on October 3, 1898 – while the school has been through many changes over the past 120+ years, the essence of the Northeastern education remains the same. Happy Birthday Northeastern University!

Legacy Pinning Reception

What’s better than being a Northeastern student? Being a legacy student! If your parent(s) or grandparent(s) attended Northeastern as an undergraduate or graduate student, we invite you to join the Office of Alumni Relations at this annual reception to celebrate your family’s generational ties to Northeastern University. The pinning ceremony signifies the “passing on” of Northeastern’s legacy of knowledge, experiential learning, and problem-solving that defines who we are.

Senior Year Experience

Soon you will be one of Northeastern’s newest alumni. Our team is committed to enhancing your Senior Year Experience, preparing you to join the alumni community, and advancing the university’s mission. As the end of your undergraduate career approaches, there will be many opportunities for you to celebrate your achievements, connect with alumni, give back, and gain valuable knowledge about life after graduation.
