This live interactive Zoom call introduced guests to some of the Museum’s favorite animal residents.

Local tour guides David, Jule, and Eden will guide participants through the locations that inspired Rowling's magical world, from Hogwarts to the shops in Diagon Alley to the graveyard where she found some of her most iconic names. There will also be Harry Potter trivia and an opportunity to show off your house pride.
This webinar was presented in partnership with Francesca Batault, SSH’19 and Charles Allen, Director of Partnerships at The Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP), one of the leading international think tanks. The topic of discussion was the IEP’s recently released inaugural Ecological Threat Register. Attendees learned about data on environmental indicators to estimate which countries, regions, and areas are most vulnerable to environment-induced conflict. They also found out how many countries are vulnerable to ecological threats, and how many people could be displaced globally by ecological disasters in the next 30 years.

Alumna Sandra Fletcher, SSH’00, MS’05, shared how you can make conscious choices that honor yourself and lead to fulfillment. She led participants in identifying their top values and creating an action plan designed to support a values-driven life.
Connect within to re-ignite your own personal joy and sovereignty. Alumna Stacy Hernandez, SSH’98, MS’01, led participants through a guided meditation to connect with their soul purpose, inner voice, and to deeper within to reset.
In this virtual conference, health care professionals and other experts discussed the increased risk of gun violence at home and in public (including schools) during the COVID pandemic, and recommend public health approaches to reduce gun violence affecting youth. Each session included Q&A and a moderated break-out discussion. This was a three-part conference series. CE credits were also available for participants.
An introduction into to a few innovative uses of AI in the fields of healthcare, computers, and robotics was presented. Northeastern faculty experts Craig Johnson and Taskin Padir were featured in leading this online program. Learners also had the opportunity to earn a non-credit digital badge.
