London Community Meet & Greet

Join the Northeastern UK Community for a Meet & Greet Reception with our freshly-admitted batch of Northeastern Students! The reception will be held at the residence of UK Community Leader Christina Bracken, DMSB’06 and her husband, Joe Knighton in their beautiful garden. This event is the perfect opportunity to share your Northeastern wisdom with new students before they embark on their journey to Boston! All guests will have the opportunity to connect with Northeastern alumni, parents, students, and friends in London over complimentary appetizers and drinks.

Picnic in Paris

Join us in gathering with the Northeastern France Community and 19 students and TAs from the Dialogue of Civilizations Program at Parc des Buttes Chaumont in Paris. Frances McSherry, Teaching Professor of theatre design and global fashion studies, is leading the group of students on an in-depth study of Fashion, Culture, and Commerce in Paris. Come welcome them to Paris and offer your tips on the best way to spend their time in the city of lights! All guests will have the opportunity to network and reminisce on their experience at Northeastern over complimentary hors d'oeuvres and drinks in one of the most beautiful green spaces in Paris!

Mumbai Networking Night

Join the Northeastern Community in Mumbai for an in-person networking reception with Duane Lefevre’s Dialogue of Civilizations student group at the Sea Princess Hotel in Juhu Beach, Mumbai. France Community Social Hour

Join us for a gathering between the Northeastern France Community and students from the Dialogue of Civilizations Program at FROG XVI in Paris. Frances McSherry, Teaching Professor of theatre design and global fashion studies, is bringing her group of 20 students and teaching assistants to Paris to study the complex world of the fashion industry. This event will offer guests the opportunity to welcome students to the Northeastern France Community and expand their professional network in one of Paris’ most cosmopolitan neighborhoods!

ArtsAlive! FAT HAM at The Public Theater

The Department of Theatre is hosting a gathering for the upcoming production of FAT HAM, a reinvention of Hamlet, at The Public Theater in NYC. Join Antonio Ocampo-Guzman, Chair of the Department of Theatre, as we celebrate the careers of Nancy Kindelan and Janet Bobcean. Also support the work of Saheem Ali, AMD’03, the Public’s Associate Artistic Director and Pablo Hernandez Basulto AMD’18, the Public’s Public Works Manager of Community Impact. The night will include a pre-show reception at The Library, a preview performance of FAT HAM, and a post-reception gathering at The Wren.

Brazilian Graduation Networking Reception

Congratulations to the Class of 2022! Come celebrate our graduates as we introduce  and welcome them to our Northeastern Brazil Community! We will be joined by guest speaker Dr. Thomas J. Vicino, Associate Dean of Graduate Studies at Northeastern. Graduates will receive their BRASA graduation cords, and all guests will then have the opportunity to network with alumni and celebrate their accomplishments over light refreshments!
