A Husky Santa Visit

While 2020 may have brought a lot of change to our lives, it couldn't dash our spirit for the holidays. We brought an exclusive virtual meet and greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus to our Northeastern families. Santa helped the kids get their list ready and joined fellow Huskies for a family-friendly online event. Attendees enjoyed a holiday movie and other spirited activities before each family joined a breakout room for some dedicated time with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Men’s Club Squash Alumni Gathering

Join the Northeastern men’s club squash team for its annual alumni gathering. A fun evening is planned that includes updates for the shortened season and exciting announcements for the growing team!  Meet the new players, and learn about what is in store this year. Costas Panagopoulos, department chair and professor of political science, spoke about what to expect on Election Day in the presidential and congressional general elections. Dr. Panagopoulos assessed polls and forecasts and provided a historical perspective on election results and their implications for politics and governance in America. Alumnus Henry Edson, MS'20, SSH'20 was the introductory speaker.

Distinguished Professor David Lazer discussed an ongoing, nationwide survey to gain real-time information on the pandemic for policy making purposes. As the lead researcher, Dr. Lazer shared key findings from the multi-university team and insights on the pandemic.
