A Husky Santa Visit

While 2020 may have brought a lot of change to our lives, it couldn't dash our spirit for the holidays. We brought an exclusive virtual meet and greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus to our Northeastern families. Santa helped the kids get their list ready and joined fellow Huskies for a family-friendly online event. Attendees enjoyed a holiday movie and other spirited activities before each family joined a breakout room for some dedicated time with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

NU@Noon: Exploring Permanently Shadowed Regions of the Moon

Alireza Ramezani, Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, is helping lead a team of students recently awarded a grant from NASA to develop two four-legged robots designed with the required capabilities to explore and operate in permanently shadowed regions.
